An absolutely exquisite piece of jewelry as well a time piece is this 14Kt yellow gold ladies’ lapel-watch, made in the Art Nouveau period and typical for that style it depicts flowing flower and leaf designs. The pin detaches from the watch and can be worn as an individual very attractive piece of jewelry. The open-face watch that was made by BIGELOW, KENNARD & Co has a very stylish white enamel face with Arabic numerals. The inside cover is engraved and it shows that the watch was given as a present in 1909. The length of the broach is about 1 ½” and the height is a bit over ½”. The diameter of the watch is 11/16” and it is in good running order.
